Itasha (痛車) is the Japanese cult of decorating cars with characters from manga, anime and video games. It's a trend that started in the 1980s, and has developed such a cult following that race teams and manufacturers often employ the style in an official capacity.
This example is a drift-chic Lexus SC (or Toyota Soarer - he's debadged it so we can't tell), which would be a fairly remarkable car in its own right. These coupes came with punchy 4.0-litre quad-cam V8 engines, rear wheel-drive and a very low drag coefficient, and this one is sitting aggressively low with a sensational amount of dish on the rear wheels. The fact that it's plastered in Itasha graphics is the cherry on the cake. Very cool indeed.
