Built from eBay is a web series in which the popular auction site teams up with a cluster of American tuning magazines to create four unique cars. Team Hot Rod, Team Four Wheeler, Team European Car and Team Lowrider each start with a tired car purchased from an eBay seller and transform it into something awesome - viewers then vote on the winner.The van you see here is Team Hot Rod's effort, built in association with Hot Rod magazine. It's got a 350ci Chevy small block complete with NOS, and a fantastic WWII bomber theme: aero switches, cutaway steering wheel, aircraft-inspired graphics, the full works. It's got a proper old-school gasser stance too, as well as drag slicks, cherry bomb exhausts, WWII ammo box and aircraft seats, Moon tank, and just 22,000 miles on the clock. Sounds like a winner to me. Look here - it sold for $23,870; that's less than £15k. Bargain.
