Some say the spiritual home of the Mini is on Carnaby Street, or perhaps winding through Turin alleys on the run from the Carabinieri - either way, it's a spritely metropolitan fashion icon. But for SuckSqueezeBangBlow, the Mini belongs on the rally stage, its zingy and tenacious A-series singing heartily as the diminutive scrapper bounces through the dappled sunlight.This 1964 Morris Mini Cooper S is a case in point. While London's scenesters were buffing their Minis on the Kings Road, Rauno Aaltonen was driving 569 FMO to third-in-class on the Monte Carlo rally, tussling with some much more robust machinery. See how well the little scamp wears its rally addenda, dripping with attitude and purpose - this is how Minis should be: pure, pared-back, and bestowed with love and abuse in equal measure.
