
Take this 1995 Mazda Miata, for example. It features myriad details designed to confuse and induce double-takes. The engine wears a Ford-branded rocker cover. The licence plate is impossible to read. The Centreline wheels are something you never see on such a car (and work brilliantly for exactly that reason). And the gearknob looks rather, er, Ann Summers.
A variety of weird ideas, but cohesively they work. And that five-panel rear-view mirror is brilliantly odd. Click here for more.
